Caramel is gorgeous, but he lacks confidence in who he is. He spent almost a year living outside when he was abandoned and he lost his trust in people. His foster mom has been working with him for almost two months. He likes to hide during the day and come out at night. When she picks him up though, he stays on her lap and doesn't run away. Caramel needs someone who is patient and willing to work with him to gain his trust back. He gets along okay with other cats, but he'd do best in a home without kids under 12. If you choose him, he promises to make your patience worth your while! He needs to be indoors 100% of the time or he will most likely run away once let out. A smaller home would be ideal so that the number of hiding places is less.
